Q: Tell us about yourself.

A:  My name is Patty and I am a welder.

Q:  Why did you come to Decatur Vein Clinic?

A:  I was scared no matter what I did that my veins were going to burst.  I had pain constantly, itching, throbbing and was always taking some kind of medicine because of the pain.

Q:  What issues were you having?

A:  My legs were burning, itching, they were swelled, they were black and blue, they were lumpy and they had brown streaks through them.  I was just about ready to give up because of the constant pain.

Q:  How has your treatment at Decatur Vein Clinic helped you?

A:  I was considering surgery for my legs but I would have been off work for six months, maybe more.  But with Decatur Vein Clinic, I was still able to work and still go through treatments. 

I told my husband, he's gonna take me dancing which is something we haven't been able to do.  And another thing, we have a swimming pool and I never get near that pool because of my legs.  Now I'm gonna be able to go swimming and not be ashamed.
