Q: Tell us about yourself.

A:  My name is Dorothea, I'm a retired nurse, teacher and musician.  I like to do yoga, Hawaiian dance, knit, hike, swim and read. 

Q:  Why did you come to Decatur Vein Clinic?

A:  I had surgery to treat my vein issues many years ago and it did not resolve the problem.

Q:  What issues were you having?

A:  My legs still ached and jerked and although I was never a heavy person, my legs continued to be heavy.

Q:  How has your treatment at Decatur Vein Clinic helped you?

A:  I can move faster and I feel lighter on my feet, on my legs.  I can see my ankles again, after 40 year, I can finally see my ankles.  And I'm not exaggerating.

I wanted to move more, because now I felt like I had wings.  I felt lighter, I could walk faster.  I began to smile more.  I began to be a happier person, I began to have more self esteem, so it affected my entire personality.
