Why I Enjoy Phlebology

“One of the universal tenants of spirituality is to Love One’s neighbor as One’s self.  I can think of no better way to do this than to focus our strength to lift at least a portion of the burden of suffering from our fellow man.  I enjoy the practice of phlebology because every day our team has the opportunity to improve the quality of life and to ease pain and suffering for our patients.  I am always thankful when a patient comes in and tells me that, for the first time in years, they are without pain and feel good about their legs.”

Why I enjoy phlebology:

I enjoy Phlebology because I can see a remarkable change in quality of life.  For the first times in years, patients says their legs feel and look better.  Since vein disorders are not always visible, many people do not realize that there is an underlying disorder causing their leg symptoms.  I am proud to be a part of a team of professionals at Decatur Vein Clinic that is recognizing the problem and providing help to our community.”
