Decatur Vein Clinic developed out of my personal medical practice in Indianapolis, Indiana, because so many of my own patients were suffering from leg discomfort. I had been treating varicose veins and venous insufficiency for years, but I was not getting the type of results I wanted. It wasn’t until I first encountered Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy, brought to the United States from Europe, that I realized how much this treatment could improve the lives of my patients.
In 1999, Decatur Vein Clinic was formed. Since then, we have grown to 11 clinics throughout Indiana and Kentucky. It excites me to see the difference our board-certified health care providers and knowledgeable staff are making in our patients’ lives everyday.
I have a real passion for phlebology because I am a results-oriented physician. I like to watch as my patients’ legs start to feel young again after just a few visits. Our treatments are not simply a “Band-Aid” covering the deeper problem. Our non-invasive procedures actually restore function to the circulatory system, helping it to perform in the way in which it was intended to perform.
It is truly a pleasure to see how happy our patients are after treatment and how their lives are changed. Venous insufficiency is not only a cosmetic problem. No one should have to live with the pain.
